Hello

My name is Stephanie Jobin, I am a bassist, composer and sound recordist.

I completed a Bachelor's degree in music at the University of Montreal and a postgraduate diploma (DESS) in film music composition at UQAM.  As a bass player,  I have extensive stage and studio experience having played in many very different musical formations; pop, jazz, ska, reggae, festive music, intimate music, etc.  I am currently a bassist for the artistsDUMP,Beautiful & quinn as well as the groupFrancbatards.  As a freelancer, I have also worked with many artists and groups such as Noé Lira, Jjanice+, Vanessa Marier, Madeline Harvey, Léonie Gray, Funky Bastards, etc.

I am also an image music composer.  I notably co-composed with Vanessa Marier the soundtrack of the documentaryA tax race to the bottom, creates the theme music for the podcastDigital companies and writes the music for many student animations.  I also do recording and mixing for my own musical projects but also sound recording in the context of filming.
